Successful change through a systematic approach
To remain competitive, organisations need to continuously adapt and evolve, be it through
- Use of digitalisation and modern technologies
- Cultural change
- Process adaptations and optimisations
- Sustainable corporate governance
- Personal development of employees and managers
Just as inevitable as the accompanying changes are the associated management issues:
- What are the operational structures and processes to meet the challenges?
- How to minimise project durations and risks
- How can the negative impact of projects on day-to-day business be reduced?
- How can the necessary change be implemented in such a way that it brings long-term success?
- How can I contribute positively to change as a manager and leader?
The answer to these questions is not trivial. It depends on the actual situation and the goals to be reached. Therefore, I help you to approach this complex task in a structured, cooperative and systematic way:
From situation to concern
The first clarification meeting is about getting an overview of your situation and the company context. For this purpose, the current situation is recorded and the problems associated with this situation are worked out. The aim is to define a concrete project concern. The objective is described as precisely as possible in terms of the desired results and the resulting added values.
This conversation helps to understand if and how I can support you with your concerns. The consultation is free of charge, non-binding and you can easily make an appointment:
Analyse and structure
In-depth analyses and evaluations are carried out in order to work out a suitable project structure for your concern and, if necessary, to further specify the concern. The knowledge already available in the company is uncovered and activated. Any data gaps are closed, for example, by further research, surveys or asessments. This creates a basis for gaining information from data and knowledge from information.
At the end of this phase, there is a project structure aligned to the goal incl. Overview of the project team, the necessary resources, the methodology used, communication plans, possible risks and appropriate metrics to measure progress.
Implement, measure and control progress
Depending on the situation, objectives and available resources, I accompany you and the project team as an impulse generator, concept creator, implementer, manager, expert, moderator or coach. The focus in this phase is to ensure flexibility, effectiveness and efficiency using innovative methods and appropriate agile approaches. Regular communication and active cooperation ensures the necessary attention to the project. Any bottlenecks and problems that arise can thus be solved promptly and progress made visible.
In doing so, I place a lot of emphasis on organizational development as a cooperative task that utilizes and develops the knowledge and resources of the organization.
Achieve sustainable improvement
At the end of the project, the results achieved are evaluated together. Possible follow-up measures and strategies for further improvement and long-term use are derived. For example, downstream audits and performance reviews can be planned to monitor implementation. This final phase allows you and your team to move into continuous improvement, to use your own resources for this purpose, and to ensure that the changes and improvements achieved so far are sustainable and will be thought about further.
